Water Flow Question

I'm getting ready to install a water temperature sensor in my 94 GT, i was wondering if the water entered the radiator from the top hose and left through the bottom, or the other way around. Anyone have tips on where to put another sensor in at?, i was thinking about on the thermostat housing??

I know on most aftermarket intakes theres allready places to put aftermarket sensors in... I think it enters through the top hose, exits through the bottom one

Thermostat housing is an excellent place. There is a blind hole there already - Ford used it for that in other cars. Need to use a 9/16" drill and a 3/8" NPT pipe tap.
