I feel pretty stupid asking this. I took my MAF off the car, Pro M, 3" pro tube. I noticed corrosion on the plug, so I disconnected it. It looked wet at the pins. If I shake the MAF, I can hear water under the plastic label. Is there supposed to be water in there? See why I feel stupid, lol.

That's what I thought. That might explain the issues I've been having.

The water is under this lid. Sounds like its about half full. I'm tempted to pry the lid off. I'm sure that would be disastrous though.

Are you saying water is inside the actual sensor? I would call Chris at Pro M and see what he says.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I run my maf in the fender. Plenty of rainy miles on it and that's never happened. Definitely call pro m before you temper with it.
