I just am curios as to if anyone has any ideas on this one.

2002 GT

I drove it about an hour home last night and backed it into the garage. I look on the driveway and there are little puddles of water about every 3" on the driveway with a trail right up to the car. I walk around the car and I can hear something dripping onto something hot. It's sizzling and cracking. I look under the car and the small baffle on the muffler right where it turns under the car from the engine compartment on the passenger side is dripping water onto the floor of the garage. It's dripping quite a bit.

If I used the A/C, I could guess that was causing it, but I didn't. It was definately all water, so I'm not too worried about it. It was just weird.

Anyone have any ideas as to the source and/or cause?

Has to be AC. Probably somebody was in your car and turned it on then turned it off when you weren't looking or something. It's normal.

well unless you are using ONLY water in your cooling system, than theres nothing else on a vehicle that uses only water.

if it smelt fishy than its coolant, which could be overflow, or a leak.

Thank you for all the responses!

I had the fan on at the bi-level setting. It was like 65-70 degrees out. I'm sure I didn't have the A/C on which was why I was confused.

The a/c compressor operates in ALL positions except the ones immediately to the left and right of off.
