I have recently replaced the water pump on my 72 Mustang. In doing so I had to take off brackets from the power steering, alternator, and one comming down from the A/C unit for the belt tensioner. In doing so, my stupidity kicked in and I didn't mark anything. I have one bracket which I am having trouble with. It is shaped like a triangle with a rounded rectange type thing at the bottom, kind of looks like a T but with a tapered bottom. Trying by best to explain. I remember that this bracket overlaps with 1 or 2 other brackets. It came from the A/C unit area and I think it overlaps with the power steering bracket. There are three holes in it for bolts to go through.

Another stupidity thing here. When I took off the belts I didnt mark what ones go where. Have a very worn drawling of 3 belts. One going from alternator to crankshaft. Another going from the power steering to the water pump and then to the crankshaft. And one going from A/C to the tensioner bracket down to the crankshaft. These are in order. If you are looking at the block the first one is closest to the block according to my memory.

This is my first time working on a car please by nice Thanks for your help

I know the bracket he's talking about, but don't recall where it went. The Alternator belt also drives the water pump. The P/S and A/C belts don't drive the waterpump as far as I recall. I assume he's talking about a Cleveland here ?
