Hey, does anybody know where to get those two hoses that go from the water pump to the upper intake manifold and that heater tube? The 302 ones don't fit and i'm having a tough time finding those things for the 351.

I went to autozone and picked out some hoses that had the right bend and diameter i needed then just cut them to fit.

i cut some regular straight hose, and then used a big elbow attachment from the garden section at home depot. looks funny but works!

Alright, cool. What kind of hoses did you look at when finding the right bends? I just don't want to walk into auto zone and say, "Lemme see all of your hoses" If push comes to shove, I'll do what broken joke did. What kind of hose did you use? Thanks for the help fellas.

Just ask to look at the hoses. Dont be shy they will let u behind the counter.

If i recall correctly all you needed was a 90 degree bend. Just get two hoses with some good length on each side of the 90 so u can cut it to fit perfectly.

Obviously make sure you get the correct diameter.

You're doing an engine swap!!!... get to know your local parts dealer well. I can't tell you how many times I walked into my local dealer and said "here's what I'm trying to do" before I knew it there were three or four guys coming up with solutions to my problem. After a while it felt like cheers where everyone knows your name. Those guys are as interested in what you are doing as you are. That's why they work in an auto parts store. If your store is staffed by a bunch of monkeys then find another one.

Bottom Line: If they don't take the time to help you select the perfect hose then find another store!

Great point. If you have a local "speed shop" then your in luck. Well one that deals with american muscle, not just the import crap. Those guys are always very helpful. On the other hand autozone typically sucks for workers.
