I'm looking at installing just the water pump pulley from a set of UD pulleys. Brothers Performance sells the set of Polished billet pulleys pictured below and I just want to install the one for the water pump, is there any reason that would cause a problem?

By the way I do have a Fluidyne radiator so cooling isn't a problem. The car is my wife's DD 02 GT which I like to show on weekends so I'm not really interested in any HP gain or anything like that.

I'm just looking for something to compliment the idler pulleys (pictured) and the polished Alt that's one it's way.

Yeah, you'll need a longer belt. The tensioner won't give you enough to make up for the length needed.

If that's it then no problem, I can get a belt.

Any idea how much bigger in diameter a UD water pump pulley is over a stock WP pulley?

You'll have to call the company you plan on buying from. They're probably all different by a few mm.

Not if everytime he looks in his engine bay he is dismayed by the crappy look of his existing pulley

I believe you can purchase the pullies individually. I know Steeda sells the damper seperately.

IIRC, the Bullitt has an underdrive waterpump pulley from the factory.

Mainly because I have heard more bad than good about them. I'm actually would be happy with a factory water pump pulley I could get chromed but I can't find one.
