Which water pump can I buy that is standard rotation and the outlet is on the driver side... I am converting my 65 fastback for my radiator conversion... Thanks in advance...
I'm not sure how well it will fit the timing cover, but you can try a granada water pump (iron) or a 80's to early 90's crown vic or towncar. The later model non-HO 5.0s are supposed to be standard rotation.
I don't know what timing cover I have on my 302, but the water pump from a 77 granada was the right one. It looked the same as one I saw in the junkyard off a 85 towncar.
you can use a 70 mustang water pump. You'll need a 70's timing pointer too. It'll bolt on the passenger side. Just use a timing tape to make it easy to convert.
