Hey folks,

does any one have specs on stock water pump studs and valve cover bolts? Putting together a project from scratch and this is long gone.

Valve Cover bolts = ¼ x 20 x 1” grade 5
Water Pump Studs are 5/16-18 pitch stud part is 3/8-16.
Shorter stub bolt total length is 3-1/2".
Longer stud bolt total length is 6-1/2" .
Stud part is 1-1/4" on both.

I'd buy the water pump bolts at ford.
Ya, they stick it to you financially, but if you handle them properly you won't need to buy them again for quite some time.
You know they will fit right, and won't have any belt alignment issues from the one that goes behind the a/c bracket.
