If you've got a Pep boys I've been real satisfied w/ their remanufactured stuff - and about same prices as AZ.
I'd leave the thermostat - didn't you recently go through all that stuff right?

140cilx said:Oh, I'd replace the thermostat then. It's hard to tell unless it just dies in the more closed position, so that you can see the gauge showing the car's getting hot. Sometimes they get stuck wide open and the car never get's warm. I opened a thermostat housing one time and the therm was sitting in it sideways where the spring had rusted in two, but the water flow through it was just about right.
The project is easy, you'll spend most of your time scraping gasket surfaces.
