My true blue stang has water spots on the hood roof and trunk that will not come off, I had clay barred it a year ago and I guess that din't do it. I tried 3M's paint cleaner and seemed to help some I just tried it last week but I plan on waxing and polishing soon and don't want to seal that stuff back in any suggestions? I heard someone say to use white vinegar because of its ph it will help with hard water deposits. Thanks

The paint is now etched. You need to have it wet sanded and buffed out. Keep the surfaces waxed often and you won't have that problem again

OMG don't just go run out and get your car buffed out on the recommendation of someone who hasn't even seen it. Even if the waterspots have etched your paint it is possible to remove the etching yourself depending on how bad it is. Give the 3M SMR another shot. To give it a bit more bite use a good quality cotton applicator then finish up with a foam applicator. It may take several applications but, keep at it. Ford paint on the Mustang is fairly soft so you have that working in your favor.

Let me know how it comes out

Thanks man rjstaff I'm sure last time I used Zainos I sealed some of those up do you think it will make them easier or harder to come off? Thanks

Any product with abrassives in it will take Zaino right off. It won't make it any harder. Don't be afraid to use some elbow grease with the SMR.
