Hello,

i´m confused. Is this a standard or a reverse
rotating pump? It should be a reverse rotating pump
but i´m not sure.

I am assuming you have a modern setup in your car. We have reverse rotation water pumps.

Oh my bad.

The pump in question is designed to spin clockwise(from the front) I don't remember if that is regular or reverse. Im not on my computer to check.

i believe "standard" is clockwise and "reverse" is
counterclockwise.
If it is clockwise it is the wrong pump, damn!!

Check to see how the serp belt runs, It may reverse it, Giving you the correct rotation. I dont have one to look at, but its a thought.

Bad idea. You can physically spin the pump in either direction, but it is the way the vanes on the inside face that determine whether it has to spin clockwise or counte-clockwise. You will end up with a ton of cavitation and overheating if you spin the pump opposite of what's it been designed to spin.
