Only thing I used was Turtle Wax's Black Box ($20 at Vatozone) and this $25 buffer

And I touched up the interior with Armor All wipes

Do you have nothing better to do all day than post detailing pics of your stock 260 horsepower mustang? I'm getting kinda tired of these Moon "'I'm better than everyone because I use a $25 Autozone buffer and my car looks soooo good' threads."

To the mods: sorry, I had to.

It just came with a polishing and buffing bonnet, nothing too fancy. Can't believe the good job it did, being as cheap as it was. My only complaint is the applicator that Turtle Wax gives is small as hell, and does a chitty job.

1991notchbackLX- you're cute, really you are. No where in my post did I say it was stock (or modified, but if you look at my user profile you'll see that it isn't, genius) nor did I ask for comments. Why don't you stick to drag racing and having intercourse with your sister? Stupid hick.

I am pretty cute, your grandmother told me so. Nowhere in Handz's post did it say whether or not his car was modified or stock either, but you took it upon yourself to shoot him down and piss on his thread. Don't dish it out if you can't take it. Also, I live and work in Manhattan, NY. You might have Down Syndrome if you think the largest metropolis in the United States is a "hick" town.

So you're a hick that lives in a shiithole? And because somebody else was ignorant about a cars modifications, that means you can be ignorant as well? That's some advanced hick logic. How are the city slickers treating you? Do they find it odd that the only tail you can pull is grandmothers and other assorted elderly?

Who the hell asked for your comments? Try and shoot me down. I'm just following in Handz footsteps (pun intended). Next week, I'll post ANOTHER thread just like this, maybe switch around some products. The week after that, it'll be more of the same.

City slickers? Really? Do you lick windows? I don't know Handz or you, you just seem like a dick so I figured I'd bust your balls for being a hypocrite.

My chiit's golden, they don't break Fair enough, noone understood the point I was trying to make in the original thread, so I guess I'll stop. By the way, mods so far are: 14" antenna, Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back, MM full length subframe connectors, 'running pony' floor mats, and a Bullit fuel door (black). Waiting to be put on are MM strut tower brace, MM k-member brace, MM lower control arms, and H&R springs.

Your car is nice and it came out good for such cheap products used. Like I said, I was just busting balls. The car should sit and handle much better with the mods you have waiting to go on.

Anytime you're ready.

Thanks for all the comments. Like I said before, I really couldn't believe the results. Somebody on another board recommended Turtle Wax Black Box to me. The stuff works really good. I'll probably only do this once a month, though. Anytime in between I'll just use the Spray Wax Detailer that was included, along with a microfiber towel. Anybody can get these results. If a noob (at waxing/detailing) like me can do this, than anyone can.

Also would like to add that I can't wait to get these parts put on, I had MM lower control arms on my '94 and they were great. Forgot to add that I have some Ford Racing 4.10s along with a T-Lok rebuild kit (carbon fiber clutches) that I'll put on eventually, I just need a programmer to correct the speedometer. And I don't know if it'll void the warranty (I got a cheap one from the dealer, engine is covered to 100,000 miles).

I had one of those Buffer..... They are for polishing Tables and It was pretty weak and couldnt take out scratches... So I sold it to someone for $10 and bought a Rotary

Hey Moon, Anyway you can post up Some Halogen or "Sun" shots to show proof that correct the paint and its swirl free? The shade really hides alot.

+1 you might wanna get rid of that wax bonnet. Prolly picked up chips of dirt which can result in swirles and some serious scratches.

I think handz started off once a month with his car detail. As u can see where it went from there.....Your car is clean moon, just try n keep the integrity of your car going for another 5/6 years.....then you'll realize why we love handz 12 year old car.
