Great news. Thank you everyone for your comments. I will probably never know where the transmission knock came from, BUT, it’s gone. How? By changing out the fuel injectors, which also fixed my lousy idle, shaky motor, and no power.
You may remember the it only knocked with the clutch out. Which makes this an even crazier thing. But apparently the shaky motor was causing the knock from somewhere from behind the motor. No idea from! No idea why only with couch out!
So anyway, she purrs like a kitten, hauls ass, And ready for some cosmetic.
Wash and wax.
New steering wheel.
New shifter knob.
New and hopefully color matched spoiler thingy (rodents tried to eat it).
New headlights
New seats.
New tires (recommendations please). Old tire suffering from tire rot from sitting in the blazing sun for years.
Maybe a paint job, depends how it looks after wash and wax.
