......can i touch your car????? :rlaugh:

+1 you might wanna get rid of that wax bonnet. Prolly picked up chips of dirt which can result in swirles and some serious scratches.

I think handz started off once a month with his car detail. As u can see where it went from there.....Your car is clean moon, just try n keep the integrity of your car going for another 5/6 years.....then you'll realize why we love handz 12 year old car.

Thank you sir :flag: I enjoyed doing this, it was a pretty nice workout. I look forward to doing this again. If I get decent results with these products, I imagine I can get all the swirls and little scratches out with better stuff...maybe. Thing I hate is all the damn rock chips in the front. I may buy a bra if it gets bad enough. And I should look for my nicer camera to take better pics, I just realized how grainy these look :D

I took the bonnet off the buffer when I took that pic.

Oh God give me a break

Im not defending anyone in particular, but a lot of people here talk ****. Are we going to follow everyone around and "bust their balls" for the things they say? Im sure you people have better things to do then that.

SRT Handz is a cool dude, but let stop the nut-hugging.

....and lets not turn this into a "OMG MY BUFFER IS BETTER THAN URS" argument

It takes a lot of time and effort to detail the car, take pics, upload the pics, make the thread, etc.

So when someone comes in on post #1 spouting :bs: like Moon did to Handz its pretty damn offensive IMHO.

However, I am sure now that Moon went to all that trouble he realizes how much work it is and will appreciate the effort others make in the future and not crap on their threads again.

I had one of those Buffer..... They are for polishing Tables and It was pretty weak and couldnt take out scratches... So I sold it to someone for $10 and bought a Rotary :-)

Hey Moon, Anyway you can post up Some Halogen or "Sun" shots to show proof that correct the paint and its swirl free? The shade really hides alot.

Agreed, those buffers suck. I too would like to see some halogen or sun shots the shade does hide a lot and actually anytime you don't have a direct reflection of a light source it is hard to tell whether or not the paint is corrected.

This is my old DD that I polished using a rotary and a PC. Here's a couple of pics to highlight what Handz is talking about.

This is before any paint correction:

This is after:

Notice how hard it is to tell whether or not the paint swirls were removed.

Now, here are some before/after pictures of the roof:

Word of advice to you, don't knock the work Handz does to his car. He's proud of it and should be, his SN95 probably has the best laser red paint finish as a result of his detailing ability.

The fact that you make your own detailing post after criticizing the post made by Handz is hilarious. Especially since you used a cheap chitty rotary, some OTC garbage wax, and didn't even show any sun/halogen pictures showing the level of correction.

Yeah, those Buffers really do suck pretty pad. The buffer he is using is not a Rotary, But an Orbital for Buffing Tables, Wood floors, Wood walls, ect.

I started out on one of those $20 buffers from Lowes..... I literally only used it one time because there is no way it could take out defects.

Even when talking about just paint correction, My porter-Cable cant even come close to hanging with My Hitachi :D

Oops, meant to say RO. Agreed, rotary's are the chit. I like the PC for minor correction jobs, but it really beats up my arm while the rotary is smooth as butta and gets the job done much faster.

The PC is a nice tool for someone just starting to learn about paint correction. It's not hard to burn through the paint on an edge with a rotary if you're not careful.

Ok I think we are done here but I have to say a few things..

1. Stop talkiing crap about autos.. you might just get your ass handed to you by one since most serious non dyno queen cars are auto. Hell I might convert my car to a auto at somepoint if I get serious

2. Drag racing is not just for hicks... I was born in boston and lived my entire life within the boston metro area... while boston itself might only be about 600k people millions live in the metro area.. I bought my car JUST for drag racing.. It's slow right now but it's still in it's early stages.. Just because somebody ( like me) bought a mustang for reasons other than bling bling and cleaning the hell out of it does not make that person a hick.. ( BTW only other mustang owners care about your mustang.. women know they can be had cheap and are not impressed)

Anyways.... stop with the bs seriously are you guys arguing over who is frigging better at detailing a car.. WOW and we wonder why all the serious 4.6 people left years ago.. this thread is making me want to sandblast my car and cover it in mud..
