I have a 94 5.0 AOD, all stock expect cold-air intake.

The problem is when i get on the gas, it seams to bog down and not accelerate well and when it shifts it acts as tho it doesnt want to shift and then jumps into the next gear. Any Clue as to what the problem or problems could be?

Try cleaning the MAF - check spark plug wires to make sure they are not grounding out (you can see the spark at night or hear it popping).

What sort of tuneup things have you done lately?

How many miles?

has approx. 98k, previously had a 94 gt with 125k that seemed to accelerate quicker. I bought the car this past summer and had a complete tuneup done and have only put 3k on the car.

Go get yourself a $30 code scanner and see if you get any codes.

You will need it later anyway. lol

Do you know off the top of your head what all your tuneup entailed?

Do a search on here for cleaning the MAF - chances are that wasn't done at tuneup time.

Had any service or rebuild done to the AODE in the past?

Smell exhaust or anything when the car is running?

Still have catalytic convertors? (may be clogged)
