Does anyone know the weight, or where I can find the weight, of the stock 17" Bullit rims that come standard on the 2004 Premium GT? Are the Ford Racing Black Bullit rims any lighter by any chance?

my 17's aren't the bullit wheels... they're the gt wheels that came out in 99-2000.

i don't know what they weigh alone.. but i weighed them with tires on.

the front ones with 245/45's were 45lbs. the rear ones with 275/40's were 50lbs.

Damn those are heavy! Are there any lighter rims out there? What about the 18 inch 2000 cobra rims?

WHAT!? they are not 40 lbs! not without tires... with tires maybe... but without tires... less much less... i got 18" mille miglias which are heavier than my stock rims and tires and the mille's are at 22lbs each...

i may have to double check the weight on my new wheels, but i am pretty sure those are the right numbers

that's why i said that mine weigh what they weigh WITH tires.

just like.. the rear 15x8 weld draglites weighed around 13lb's alone. but with some fat BFG DR's.. the weight jumped to 45lbs.

dbmstang, you are saying that going from a 245 to a 275 tire only made a 5 lbs. difference? i hope your #'s are right im going 275 in back as well, i just thought it would weigh me down more.

I replaced my stock GT rims with stock 03 Cobra wheels. Here is what I found.

The 245/45-17's (Wheel and tire) were 46 Lbs. that's with tires that only had about 3000 miles on them. The Cobra wheels and tires 275/40-17's were 51 Lbs. Those are about 1/2 worn on the tread.
