1988 Mustang 5.0 5 speed
Ok, it all started with the four lights on the bottom right of the instrument cluster (low fuel, check oil, coolant and brake fluid) starting to flash on and off all at the same time. This is intermittent but usually happens 3-4 times during a 15 mile drive. The flashing lasts about 2-3 seconds.
Then the turn signal intermittenly stopped working. Now, the turn signal and A/C blower do not work at all. But the thing is, they do work fine with key on, engine off. But don't work with the engine on. But when those four lights in the cluster flash, the turn signals and blower start to work, but stop once those lights go out.
I was thinking it might be the ignition switch, but I have also reviewed the wiring diagrams hoping for some common ground somewhere. I have found nothing. Its starting to get hot here in Vegas and I need my A/C. Any help would be appreciated.
