I start my car n it idles ok till it warms up than its really ****ty idle - ok so i let it warm up and i adjust the idle screw, it idles great, i tighten that up and drive it, it's fine - as soon as i turn it off, n start it back up, the idle resets itself to ****ty - its weird - so i adjusted the TPS instead this time, just not according to my volt meter, just adjusted it so the idle would be nice, n it still sucks when i shut it off and turn it back on - someone said my timing is jumping around - what does that mean, n shoul di jus junkt his car?

See the sticky "Help me create the Surging Idle Checklist" at the top of the forum for help with your idle problems.

yea i checked that over a million times, i just thought maybe someone had some idea if it was the "jumping timing" i quoted from some guy that was causing my ****ty ****ty - there is nothing in that entire checklist that i haven't tried i dont think

It can be normal to see the timing jump a few degrees with the SPOUT connector installed.

Good luck.

The SPOUT should be out only while you are timing the engine. The SPOUT should be in all other times.

JR is right. However the car should run with the SPOUT removed.

Good luck.
