So I have a 2002 gt. Car has a manual transmission with full bolt ons.

For some reason the car is making a knocking noise. The knocking noise only starts after the car has warmed up. You cant hear it when the car is cold. I've done some research and come up with the idea that it is linked to the timing chain. I don't know how but even a mechanic has came to the same conclusion. The car hasn't lost any power at all but the noise is starting to get bad. The car has recently had the plugs changed and the oil changed as well.

I'm really out of answers here and just wanted to get everyone's opinion on it and also see what else it might be. Thanks for the help
