Weird Metal To Metal Noise Coming From The Engine?

when i start my engine up and give it some gas, u can hear this nasty metal hitting metal noise. It sounds like a rocker arm is hitting the vavle cover, but i took the vavle covers off and checked and everything seemed fine. I put new the X303 camcshaft in it, new lifters, roller rockers, push rods, and guide plates. So i'm wondering if it could be a bent valve or what? so if anyone has had this problem or know of someone who has i need ur help? thanks

If you have a mechanics stethoscope, it can really help narrow down such issues.

Otherwise, your guess is as good as mine.

how hard is it hitting? is it like a hard hit from inside the engine or just like a tapping. Itll be hard to tell, i dont know what its for but that metal thing that is connected by the two header bolts on the passenger side header was loose on my car and was tapping against the smog pipe, it was loud and VERY annoying I could hear it inside the car with it on.
