weird noise comming from the lx!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i hear a hitting sound almost like the driveshaft hitting the loop when ever i hit the gas no matter how hard or how soft and when i let off? i dont know what it is cause the loop has alot of clearance. if anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it please help me i dont wana drive it till i get it fixed.

I had the same kind of noise... it was my passanger side muffler hitting the driveshaft. Hope this helps some.

What condition are your universal joints in?

not sure on the u joints could it be anything else?

I would check the controll arm bushings and battleboxes.

dont forget motor, trans and crossmember mounts.
