I honestly dont know how to explain this but I will try my best. When I go slow speeds like coasting and my foot is not on the gas my car feels like its taking control of its self and the slows down then goes again. Kinda like a faint bucking of some sort. Like slightly tapping on the brakes and then releasing them quickly again and again but only at slow speeds.

this happens intermittent. not always. But yesterday when it did it my Low coolant light went off (my coolant level sensor doesnt work but I have coolant)

Only time it goes off is when I disconnect the battery then it goes back on after I drive for a bit.

runs good till it gets warm then I have the intermittent problems sometimes but not always

checked codes and got system pass on KOEO and KOER

Notice when I step on the brakes and release them my rear drums make noise. like a creaking sound

fuel pressure is at 40 with vacuum off at idle, New wires, MSD cap and Rotor and autolite copper plugs(3000 miles old)

I took off my plugs to the MSD dist. cap and noticed that the brass insert terminals that go to the 1 and 2 cyl. are black. maybe burnt?

could this be causing my problem?

could very well be? Have you took off the drums and see what the pads look like on the rear brakes? What about the front ones?peace

front brakes are fine. not sure about the drums. Ill get it checked out.

but im more worried about the rough ride. feels likes its missing.

the gas is below a 1/4 of a tank right now. It started when it got to about a 1/4 i guess. Im going to put some more fuel in it and see if it changes anything. if it does ill look at the fuel pump i guess and just never let it go below a 1/4 tank again even tho the only gas I like in my mustang is farther away. Exxon!!

Stock cam and timing is 10* with spout out last time I got it checked which was a month ago or so.

car ran a little bit better after I put some more gas in it.

def. heard the fuel pump making a sound. kinda like a whistle until i put more gas in it.

I put a MSD street fire coil on it and it ran even worse. then I put the stock coil back on and it ran like it did before.

but with the gas it it it def. runs a little better.

but that may change since it seemed to be intermittent
