so far the car is running good just input. whenever on a cold start up, the idle jumps pass 1500 rpms or so. im believing i might have to adjust my idle or or clean the IAC. any other suggestions would be great.
I agree with the above. If the idle is raised via the stop screw, the cold idle goes up too. Mine used to jump to 1500 upon start-up (for a few seconds). This allowed a hot idle of 850. The bleed screw was set 1.5 turns from seated.

it jumps to 1500 rpms and then settles at 850. it tends to move just up just a tad bit. it sounds like i have a cam in some sort. yet i do have the cats still on.
for example i have flowmasters 40 series catback and 1 of the guys i know says that they tend to have a "cammed sound". back to idle, im going check for any vaccum leaks. while im at, adjust the voltage on the tps.
i did however was fooling with the idle screw to fix the shutting down issue i had when downshifting. no more shut downs
