Just traded my vert for a coupe. Its an 89 and it is burgundy on burgundy. Pretty decent. Everything works pretty good. The only thing is that its not Mass Air and it has a distributor

Ill post pics tomorrow! So :Zip2:with

Anyways. I was thinking of a name for it. any ideas?

the only "half year" for mass air was 88 with the cali cars, all 89's were mass air.

Speed Density isn't as bad as it's made out to be either, but if you decide to go to mass air the swap is pretty easy.

If it's an 89 then it should have Mass Air.

Does it have the 85MPH or 140MPH speedo?

its an 89 but its got SD. and it has a 85 mph speedo.

and here are the pics, and we swapped hoods because i cant stand the twin turbo hood. So i have my hood from the other 4 banger. Its a little rough, but i like it.

ahh you got me chuckman. i have no clue what i'm talking about...

oh wait, we're talking about the 4 bangers dummy am i really the only one that caught that from his first post? most people don't give a just because their motor has a distributor. they didn't swap the 4 bangers over to mass air til later on in the year

I had NO idea it was a 4cyl until he posted pics...

Mike (Mustang5L5) didn't either, judging by his 85/140 speedo comment. All 4cyls got the 85s (minus SVOs) and I'm sure Mike knew that!!!

haha yeah i figured most people didn't catch that. the 4 bangers either had a distributor or a coil pack. i guess working in a parts store, i catch little things like that.
