how much would a shop charge to weld in a single O2 bung. The exhaust would already be disconnected.

One shop wanted $20, seemed high

sounds very fair. By the time they put the car on the lift and weld it in, it's going to take 20 minutes or so.

well, the thing is I got a flowmaster welded into my exhaust on the jeep the other day. It sounded kinda wierd, so upon closer inspection I determined the flow was mounted backwards (not cool with a flow). It was welded in not clamped so they are going to have to cut it out and put in a new one.

I figured I might try to get an o2 bung welded in for an exhaust temp gauge or something to pay me back for my time and aggrivation. Just trying to find out how much they would really be out.

sound fair enough?

These days, $20 bucks for just about any kind of labor is very reasonable...especially in your case, considering they have to:
1. put it on a lift
2. weld
