Well i never thought id be saying this anytime soon, considering i only bought it 10 months ago!

but as we were getting back from the car show yesterday we stopped (we as in my friends w/ an '04 Mach 1, '04 GT, '01 GT, and i....by the way mustang highway cruising is sooooo cool, and a real head turner) at a gas station, went inside and as i sometimes do i pick up an "Auto Trader"

anyways after that we were chillin at a local ice cream hot spot and i wanted to kill some time so i called this guy about a 96 cobra i found

right after that i met up with him and took it for a test drive and all i can say is

DOHC rules! no offense...

the sound is just amazing

waiting even one more day for it is just too long

specs on cobra:
o/r hipe
flows
80mm maf
4.10's
44k MILES
still has factory tires
garaged kept
leather looks immaculate
only prob is paint needs wax
asking 10,500

Nice. Those things love boost. Just slap on a supercharger and your are over 400 rwhp. Might need lower gear than 4.10 with that though.

lol i think most of those mod guys run 4.33s or somthing, but curently my friend runs 4.11s with his 96 cobra, hes boosted also, no traction 1st two gears.heh yea the mod motors sound cool and are very unique sounding. Boosting is pretty much the only way to go since MOD parts are so damn expensive ( 1 reason i like the 5.0) heh

Are the 4.6's that much better than the 5.0's. What am i dealing with a old winsor then?

the 5.0 has more potential in the long run, but the 4.6 does repond to bolt ons and in the case of the 32v/DOHC motors, to blowers as well.

They are cheaper and easier to work on also. Wow I just answered my own question. Plus the parts are cheaper!

thats why i mostly wanted the 4.6, because with the 5.0 i would be tempted to do h/c/i because of how inexpensive and easy it is and with that done on a car im not sure i would want it for an every day driver.....sooo much low end torque....

plus once again the sound is unbeatable!

what do you think i should start off asking

95 gt
110,000 miles
good paint
'03 chrome cobra wheels
60% tread on 245/45/17 kumho ecsta's
bbk shorty headers
bbk o/r h-pipe
flows
interior is great
harmonic balancer
msd distributor
fuel relay
computer chip
3" chrome tips
110 fuel pump
felpro oil pan gasket
ford 3.73 gears
tfi coil

all of this stuff was put on while i had the car (the last 10 months)

half this stuff i know is meaningless for price but it lets the buyer know that he will not have to deal with these problems as i did......well in the near future anyways
