I came home yesterday with a 2003 10th anniversary Cobra. It was a left over with 70miles on it. Brand new! It's silver metallic with the black and red 2 tone seats. What a unbelievable car.

I traded in a 2001 vert Gt and these cars might look some what similar, but are they 2 completely different cars. I can't believe how much power, and the handling, it's the balls to drive. The salesman said, hey you can get one of those chips to boost the power. I said, why would I need to? How much power do I need? The car perfect the way it is. I might change the exhaust. What exhaust would good to put on it?

Thanks

Sounds awesome, those 10th are very nice good choice and good find.

I would look into magnaflow, SLP loudmouth, and Bassaini for exhaust....SLP has been showing some hugs power gains and if you like mean and loud at WOT then SLP is the way to go.

Great buy. I have the Magnaflow x-pipe w/cats full exhaust, Steeda CAI,
and Predator tuner on the way. They might be something you may want to look into.

What kind of HP gain do you get with all that?

Don't know. Never had the car dynoed before the install. Probably should
have. After the Predator comes in this week, I will have the car
dynoed to see where I am at now. Hopeing to see 420rwhp.
Stock I have heard these cars make anywhere from a low of 340 to a factory
freak at 390.

Congratulations! We have the same car. I’m at 4100 fun loving miles! I’m at 460rwhp and 480rwtq with the mods below. Make sure you get the 10th anniversary of SVT book (a $100.00 value) and all the other goodies that come with the car!

It's a great machine, never drove anything like it. Now, the dealer didn't give a 10th anniversary of SVT book and other goodies. Could you give more info on it so I can ask the dealer? I'm thinking of some mods, but not sure what. Definetly an exhaust to start.

From what I was told all cobras get a certificate in the mail with a keychain and one year of SVT magazine, but on top of that The anniversary car comes with a red & black cobra hat (to match the interior) a really nice big book on the last 10 years of SVT and a additional certificate for it being a anniversary car. I got all this stuff overnighted to me at two times, one for all SVT buyers and the other for anniversary buyers. I think it will help for resale values down the road!
