i got tired of having the cobra stuff on my car, and explaining to everyone that its not a real cobra, so i put the gt rear bumper back on and i am changing the side emblems to the gt ones, and the pony in the grill...

i still have to get the silver inserts

but im keeping the cobra front bumper

Yeah, I'm not a fan of "Fobras" myself. My '93 GT has some cobra parts on it (grille, intake, etc.) But I didnt want to put the cobra badges on it, however I did want people to know it was'nt stock, so I got myself a GT-R emblem. (I think it's off of the Nissan Skyline.) You can kinda' see it in this pic. It's on the left bottom of the hatch, where the real Cobras had a Cobra sticker. I sometimes get asked about it, and I explain the whole letting people know that it's not stock thing. Most people dont even notice it, but the mustang guys usually ask about it. After having it on there for a while, I'm glad I did that insted of Cobra badges.

Sweet! I think you should keep the front bumper too. I'm looking forward to your build results!

That's cool man--I don't think there is anything wrong with a Cobra bumper (the style you have is one of my favs). I have one myself and love it! Your car looks great!

Front bumper is cool to leave on

Just can't have the Cobra badges everywhere

So taking the Cobra badges off = nice ride and will not get made fun of

if your sportin' tha 4v, the a cobra badge some where, maybe on the rear trunk lid, I mean, the motor is really what sets the cobra apart from the GT more then anything else.

Yeah, the badge might have some meaning again if Ford makes the new toy. I mean that car has been around for years now but I found some stuff suggesting Ford might actually name the new Turbo Stang that
I like your cars and you are a good member so I didnt wana flame you but man the Nissan GTR badge just reminded me of that video
Glad You took it off Wonder what Fords GT-R badge will look like

Yep, thats the name it will prolly get due to hearatige (sp?) But GT-R was one of the top picks. Think its too much of a Japanese badge now so Ford will prolly do the SVO badge

When the day comes that I shoehorn a 03/04 Cobra engine into my Fox Mustang...i'm putting Cobra emblems on it

But in general i'm not a friend of putting Cobra emblems on non-cobras....especially V6's (see it all the time) To me it's like Buying a mercedes C230 for $30K, and putting AMG C55 emblems on it.

They won't use GTR, that's the name tag of the yellow side exhaust concept that they never produced.
