than I'll have 3 stangs lol. it's a 4cyl AOD with 175'000 Km's with some paint peeling and surface rust but it's solid. he is changing the trunk and going to throw in a saleen wing but I might not use the wing. this is the perfect car to build that windsor to put in. heres a few pics I am going to go check it out and if it's as good as he says probly drive it home. If not I'll keep looking

or there is one about 4 1/2 hours away that is a black notch with a 5.0 5 speed but the engine ss blown. Comes with a spare running engine all for $1000 cdn

your getting to be as bad as I am. Do you have room for all these cars.

I say buy them all then you can raise the value of the cars b/c there will be no competition out there

Because they are the most sought after seats for the stang next to the black leather ones. I think recaro made them for the 85&86 Gt's only i may be wrong though.

I've got extremely similar seats in my '89 (exact same color interior, even), but I'm not so sure they actually came in the car, originally - 'cept my headrests are fabric-wrapped with fishnet in the middle. I'd really like to take 'em someplace and have them reupholstered, because they look like a rabid dog got hold of the sides of 'em (I think the seatbelts wore through), but I'd sooner just buy a pair of seats out of an SN95, bolt 'em in, and be done with it. Keep those seats in there, though, you'll be happy with 'em in the long run ... or, if not, just send 'em on down to me.

Nice find, though. But please, PLEASE flip those front tires around. Whitewalls = old people.

i say buy em both and put the spare 5.0 in the grey one, sell it, and put your windsor in the black one. then you dont have to worry about upgrading the rearend and suspension as much as if you just threw it in a 4cyl car, or at least not as soon. but then again, you also still have the 4cyl hatch, so its up to you.

I had a pair of nice 85-86 GT seats plus a 302 block that I got for .50 cents and a Dr.Pepper. I'm serious too! I put them in an 85 SVO so I could keep the SVO Recaro's then I traded it (the SVO) for a 65 Corvair convertable.

I doubt I will end up with the 5.0 coupe (it's probly already sold) but I am going to check the grey one out this week hopefully.
