I'm juuust about done taking my engine apart for the H/C/I swap and was about to take off the driver side head. I was attempting to disconnect one of the AC lines and forgot its pressurized. I get it off and ****s flying everywhere lol. I need to know what the hell that was, what do i do to fix it, and how to reconnect the quick release connectors so i can atleast get it back together.

Gracias,
Steve

hmm....EPA looks down on that stuff....oh well, it was freon and more than likely some lube for the compressor. the quick release connectors just snap back together and you will have to get the system recharged. some people will say that if you open up your system like that you will have to buy a new condensor or evaporator...not sure which one...but it shouldnt matter as long as no crud got down in the line

depends on what you use....if you do the conversion to r-134 it wont be that bad but r-12 is like 90 bucks a pound or something. i think thats what we used to charge. maybe it was 60....i dont know
