When my girlfriend and I settle down and get a house, there will be another mustang in my garage. But right now I need something more versatile that I dont have to worry about the winter in. AT least I am going to get another Ford!
Yea i see what your saying. I wouldn't want my car going to some punk thats gonna disrespect it.BTW is there any way we could see some pics of it?
1) What does your gf drive
2) Define practicality?
Both the FJ and Xterra get the same mpg as the Escape and can actually pull a future race car around.
My uncle owns an 08 GT and he has three youngins. If he has to haul the kids, he takes his wife's minivan. I bought an auto 04GT so the wife can drive it if she needs to incase I need to take her truck to a construction site.
As far as winter no fear with the Blizzaks.![]()
You remind me of myself 6 years ago. I sold my 91 GT off for a nice 4dr and kept that for five years feeling empty inside. I can also tell you that my 04GT with Blizzaks does way better in the snow than my front wheel drive posi job did with winterforce tires. My wife even drove the Mustang during a snow storm and she was like I can't believe how much of a mountain goat that thing is in the snow. No ABS and no Trac Cont. 3" of snow had accumulated on the roads by the time she got home. She was upset because people couldn't get going infront of her and she would drive around them in the Mustang, talk about a slap in the face.
Choose wisely man.
A little of the subject. I was looking to buy some winterforce tires for my 95 B4000 pickup. Are they ok? Sounds like I may want to buy some other tire. Pearl02.
well the stang is already gone in my head. I have spent the last two days taking all the exhaust and suspension off and swapping out the transmission. I still have half a days work tomorrow finishing up...
I am going with an escape, I like them and I like the way it drove. I couldnt buy anything thats not American.
It's ok, you remind me of a much younger self, once you get your mind set on something, you're all over it.
I remember when I would only buy American, ahh, to be young again.
Sure
I just think it's too clean and well-maintained to dump on a used car lot for wholesale....otherwise it would be gone already.
I want someone who wants my car to buy it from me. That's the only way i'll sell it
These things look amazing! No rust or corrosion! I have driven in snow, etc and they have held up extremely well! KOOKS FTMFW!!!!!!

For a truck I recommend Bridgestone Duelar A/T's. I had a 97 Ranger that was a POS in the snow until I ran the Duelar A/t's. I Still had to run some weight in the back, but it was a world of difference over the passenger car tires that can on it from the factory.
I have had over 10 customers come to me with their jaw's dropped in disbelief as to how well their vans and trucks handled in the snow with the Deulers. I'm basing my opinion off of happy customers. BFG's do a nice job, but I got better feedback from the Duelers.
Since you're posting up these parts on display for sale, is this your way of telling me you'd like this thread closed, or moved to a Regional Classifieds section?![]()
Yeah, they are in great shapeNope, I just wanted to show what they looked like after 1.5 years of use. I think they look amazing! I mean, I have drive through snow, salt, water, mud, etc and you cant even tell!
When I took my BBK's off after a year to do a head gasket, they had surface rust and where tarnished pretty bad. I was just really happy with how they held up...
My intention is not to sell parts in this thread, sorry. I just want to post some pic's. If it makes you feel any better they are sold and on a UPS truck somewhere![]()
