EGR and cam don't get along. How much money do you have? The best solution is to get a premade chip for 24lb + EGR delete and some good manifold gaskets, Fel-Pro 1250's wiggle too much on alum head/alum manifold, Mr.Gasket seals way better. (recommending the manifold gaskets for safe measure)
I sort of rednecked my EGR delete, I have the Performer RPMII manifold and I when I got the adapter, I taped up the inside of the inlet, and poured JB weld into the EGR port, when she dried, I ported it smooth. Never had a problem with it and that was about 4 yrs ago.
Don't drive on bigger injectors though, if you think about it:
at idle, lets say you're using %30 injector of 19lb/hr, that' equates to about 5.7lb/hr of fuel at idle, swap the injector without telling the computer to 24lb/hr, you'll be using 7.2lb/hr of fuel. The computer is gonna go HOLY ****! WAAAY TOO MUCH FUEL, CUT BACK!

you get the idea.
I should mention this on that other thread.
