I tell you what, Maaco, Scheib, (insert low cost paint place here) whatever it is, as long as the equipment/paint, and the dude wielding the paint gun are good, it don't matter where you get it painted. I got a scheib job on mine for $600 which included a fender repair. Can't beat it for the price, and really what these are for the most part ~13-19 yr old daily drivers. Were yours a show car----probably no maaco, but it looks great nonetheless.

awesome job

now grab some mothers back to black and hit the trim and mirrors for that final touch

when you apply that stuff use alot and rub it in good, hit the trim, handles, weatherseals, mirrors and you will see a big difference!!

also not sure if maaco told you but i dont think your supposed to wash it or do anything to the paint for 3 weeks or so while it settles

Actually i had planned on paint the mirrors, and door trim and handles with a black paint this weekend, the seals ill hit with back to black..

i think i cant really do anything to it for 3 weeks as far as washing goes and stuff...

hey man, I take resentment to that statement...I helped you for a solid 2-3 hours that day with the moldings and sanding...lol.

where's my group hug you dirty bastard!!! Anyway, it looks killer; now you have to help me install my new hatch.

I also think I saw your woman out there helping too...

Everyone notice how much faster the site moves now that my name is shortened? That's because the DataBase has a few Gigs less of the word "Hood" in it
