Well I finally went and did it before I spent a whole lot more money on this thing. On the third run it made 235.7 Hp at 5000 and 295.1 ft. lbs of torque at 3500. I think that is pretty good considering the mods I have.

Does not sound right at all. The HP and TQ sounds right but the RPMs you made the HP at is way off. Should be between 4800-5000 RPM. I don't know, do you have the sheets.

maybe im missing something then....where did the extra 30 - 40 hp come from? It seems like the only performance things are the pullies, exhaust, and CAI. Whats up with the MAS (Mass Air Sensor?)

I thought we needed an intake to get those kind of numbers at the rear wheel.

Im guessing im just unfamiliar with one of the terms used in his signature....

The long tubes must have something to do w/ it. I have simmilar mods only thing really diffrent is that I have a Cobra Intake, I pulled a few HP less but maybe his motor has very low miles on it.

Yeh, those do seem way high for a stock intake, but congrats none-the-less.

I think it might. I'm a firm believer that long tubes are the way to go when doing headers. WhiteDevil and I have almost identical mods (except I don't have a TB or MAF) and I trap 1 mph faster than him in the 1/8. The only difference is that he doesn't have long tubes.
