Went for a walk around the base this morning to take care of some business and what did i find? None other than the Mustang I always talk crap about when I see it driving around base and in town. This thing is Ricer hideous. I had to whip out my phone and snap a few quick pics. The paint job- if you wanna call it that-, wheels, tires, body kit, wing and all... just what was this guy thinking. Looks like it started out with potential maybe the wing and the body kit but this guy obviously had to go too far and Rice it out with the copper paint job and the black rims and donut looking tires. Maybe I'm being too harsh and maybe the guy just needs to do some resto work to it and maybe he's planning on it but I would be embarrassed to drive this thing with the idea that i look cool. Christ invest the money on all those cracks in the paint and the chips and stuff first. Lemme know what you guys think and might consider actually breaking it to this guy nicely that he's got the wrong idea here.

The car would look awesome if they would take the wing off the back.

i don't see how that car is rice, it has a saleen body kit and a saleen wing and powdercoated saleen wheels, at least he doesn't have altezza's on it. the wing is overkill tho and its ugly, throw a s281 or s351 and it would look awesome, o and he needs a paintjob. other then that, i don't see it as rice..

I dunno this thing just kinda screamed rice at me when I first saw it. Maybe I'm just hating on the paint job and feel sorry for the poor car. Ah it's SN 95 4.6L anyhow and I got my own theory on those things. Not a 5.0 and not a new body style so I view em as half breeds. Guess i'm just in a hateful mood today

I HAVE THAT WING.

Some people like it some hate it. It is a little ricey but that is the only thing on my car that is rice. At least I think so.

Its not made outta suran wrap, aluminum foil, and sheet metal.

Like it on not i like mine, at least mine is not broke (the side black piece)

They cost around 70$ per side (my neighbor broke it)

Looks like that pretty rare copperish color some of the 96-98's had factory. Sunburst orange or something I believe it was called. Minus the Biplane wing, I think it'd look decent.

Wouldn't look that bad without the wing. I agree though, he should get all the chips fixed.

just so you guys know, and I'm sure most of you do... that's a stock S-351 Saleen spoiler... for the supercharged 351s... mostly. same w/ the body kit...

actually, from the pictures, it kinda looks like a saleen base w/ a ton of crap done to it... literally, crap. the exhaust tips look like the resinators that come on the saleens.

Its not that bad. I personally could do with out the wing. The paint needs some TLC all and all not to ricey.

I don't know but something's telling me I'm looking at something ricey.

Maybe it's the combination of stuff PLUS the fact that the car looks plain tired. I'm not a fan of what he's got for looks: projector headlights, chrome grill insert behind a chrome horse, off-black wheels, S351 wing, and body kit. The tinted windows don't help much as they are different on the side windows compared to the rear and quarters.

I've seen plenty of S351's and/or look-alikes that are awesome, but maybe because they were clean and cared for like a Saleen should be considering the costs involved. Maybe the black wheels really do the most damage on that car. Others here have them and they look ok.

Something just isn't right!

Looks pretty cool to me, just needs a paint job. Just change the Projector headlamps for some Cobra's and I would drive it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not against putting differnt Mustang model parts on a car espicially if you own a GT and the engine is hardly GT league anymore. After I drop a 351 stroker in mine I don't plan on having my car to continue looking like one. The only thing GT about it will be the insurance payments. If you're gonna do it, do it right.

Nothing about the kit is rice, the projector headlights look a little out of place, it almost seems like he tried to go for the dark, sinister look, but he missed without having smoked headlamps. The color looks fine to me, he needs to get it repainted, but other than that, my opinion is that everybody on this site wants to make their car different from the rest, and as long as he's not popping Altezza's on it, and a big aluminum wing, he's just being your average stanger. I think it's got potential, and I like it

I dont think the first one is soo bad. Doesnt look great, and I hate those particular Saleen wings, but all and all not too horrible. Now that newer stang with the altezzas and the huge aluminium wing......OMFG........Someone needs to be shot.
