Well, i went to the local 1/8th track tonight. I run regular street tires, my only mods are off road h pipe and 3.73. The tires hooked in first gear... when i slam second they just spin like hell. I finally had to let off for 2nd gear change but didnt let off for 3rd.

It has run 9.32 before when traction wasnt such a problem and it had cats... any comments?

I ran in the 9.20's and low teens stock.

If you don't want to get too deep into the motor, the first thing I would suggest is that you get some drag radials, (I use BFG's) and some new upper and lower rear control arms. that alone dropped me into the high 8.90's. I also had 3:73 gears just like you. Heat them DR's up good in the water box, spin out of the waterbox to clean em up, and launch that sucker at no less than 3000 rpm. I usually hooked up the best when I launched at about 3800.

the times in my sig are with the parts I just listed to you. Oh yeah, I did also have shorties and a mac offroad h pipe.
