251.8 RWHP 276.62 RWTQ

Maybe I was just expecting too much but I really think those #s are low. It was a dyno jet BTW. A/F was pretty good, Ill scan my sheet later

What were you expecting? The PI swap should get you to 260HP flywheel. Your cams and exhaust have gotten you to about 300HP flywheel.

This is a 98 GT remember, a 98 Cobra takes FULL BOLT-ONS(headers, full exhaust, intake, spacer, udp, tb) and dyno tune to get to 277~whp

It's had the PI swap though, so I would think it should be around 265hp and 290tq

Has your car been dyno tuned with your current setup? I would have thought that your numbers would have been higher too.

Are those corrected numbers? Was it really hot and dry when you did the pulls?

my guess w/ those mods would have been 255hp 283 or so tq, so it's not that much off. When did you last tune it?

Those are my current numbers

PI swap
VT cams
exhaust

He "tuned" it with my diablosport. All he really did was adjust the WOT fuel and check the timing.

KT yes those are corrected (SAE)

its a little low... i would expect 270's or so... if you did the heads from a PI motor then your in the mid 10:1 compression and should have much better flow... and with a set of longtubes and a good tune should be over 300whp... whoever tuned your car needs to do a lot more work or you've got some crappy rings.

How many miles do you have on the engine???
Just contact Diablo and they will make you a custom tune.

my SAE numbers are listed 245hp/290tq with the listed mods below. you shouldn't be too disappointed those aren't shabby numbers at all for a 98 GT

I LOVE them. Thank you again They help with the city driving a lot. I also went on a little road trip and they were not bad at all. 4.10s FTW

I know the #s aren't bad for JUST a PI swap but my big thing is that I have VT stage 1 cams too
