i went to the drag strip today for the first time since i put cams in it was pretty humid tonight but not too hot so i dont know if that will effect my times or not i i def. need to work on the 60fts ill probably buy some control arms for it soon but here are my three best times

R/T .167
60ft 2.064
1/8th mile 8.773 at 82.96mph
1000ft 11.344
1/4 13.504 at 104.86mph

R/T .405
60ft 2.142
1/8 mile 8.852 at 83.04
1000ft 11.423
1/4 mile 13. 583 at 104.84 mph

R/T .241
60ft 2.163
1/8 8.924 at 82.94
1000ft 11.494
1/4 mile 13.651 at 105. 10 Mph

i was going for a 13.5 so im happy i think with control arms i should be able to drop a couple more tenths

1. if your going to drag race go ahead and get a set of track wheels 15" and sticky tires I like the et streets still street legal and bias ply hook like a mug.
2. SFC's while they prolly won't help your et's they do make the car more predictable, launch straigther, and keep body gaps looking rigth.
3. control arms - I put the MM XD's on mine and haven't been able to run it yet to give a track impression. Hopefully Friday night.

Now having said all that your mph if you drive the wheels off it should be able to get you to a low 8 sec 1/8 mile and I'd wager a 12's in the 1/4.

oh umm im in 4th around 5 to 5.5 i really wasnt paying that close of attention i shift to 4th at about the 1000ft or somewhere around there im sure i wouldnt have to shift into 5th for another 1/8th mile or so

Great times! MT DR's are the way to go bro.....Went to the Mustang Week Track event at Darlington last night and Hit 1.79 60 ft and ran 8.3 1/8th and 13.06 1/4 @ 103 at 90 deg temps! The track wasn't prepped at all so I kept taking the tire pressure down.....hooked up great with 13.5 PSI tire pressure. everybody on street radials were cutting 2.2's or higher! lol

I went out to the track after my cam install as well... Ran a 14.6 @ 98 with a 2.2 60 ft..... couldnt hook up at all!! And I have brand new tires... :(
The sixty is killing you. You should be close to 14.0 with a 2 flat sixty. DR's knocked another 2 tenths off my times. New tires don't help much if they are street radials.

Now you can update your signature :nice:

Not too bad of a 60' though have you thought about purchasing some DRs?

Drag radials are great. I went from some nice bridgestones to nitto drag radials and they hook so muck better. 2000 rpm launch to a 4500 rpm launch. get drag radials. my cars a daily driver and ive gotten about 12000 miles out of them and the tread isnt too bad yet. no burnouts though.

learn to get it out of the hole on street tires. thats a low 13sec car or better, im guessing with some practice you will pick up a couple mph as well, making it even more capable...WITHOUT any mods.
