Ford concept called the Reflex.

Ford GT, looking really stout in black.

New Camero (looked quite nice in person)

Challenger (looked nice, but I preferred the Camero in person).

Nissan Urge - concept car. The doors were kinda wild. They have a window on the top and bottom, and both roll into the door (for that wind in the hair and on the feet feeling).

All in all the show was pretty good. Today was closing day. Ford had a huge display (hadn't seen it before - but maybe they had it last year too  ). And despite GM's impending bankruptcy, they had a hugh presence, and clearly spent a ton of bucks on the show.

I've got to bust you on this. You spelled "Camaro" incorrectly above a picture that had it on the wall behind it.:D

And I'll take the "Stout back" of the Ford GT anyday.

Thanks for the pics, they came out great.:nice:

Aye it was a good show- flew up friday from Atlanta to Flint and back Sunday, and of course the weather was 51 Thursday and rained and snowed Friday :p

I'll see if I can post a few shots of the GT500.

yea i live 45 mins away but i was busy to go :( a rumor i heard tho was the display of the running hemi stopped working and they had their employees make car sounds

That's funny. Last year I went to the Chicago show and remember a Chevy V6 engine display(3.something) that every so often they had the engine rev up. What's funny is a friend told me while he was there the engine rev up and it blew up on them. Then my friend told me he heard one of the chevy employees say that that was the fifth one that week.

Yes there were nice Mustangs. Saleen had one in their display just outside of the show, along with a Saleen F-150. Unfortuneatly, I saved Ford for last. By the time I got there, I was pretty beat and ready for lunch. So I took only a few pics, and they didn't come out so well.

Matt: you're right, I somehow misspelled Crapmaro.

I don't know about the working Hemi model. I only found a Hemi engine sound thing that illustrated a '60s era Hemi sound compared to a Viper sound. You pulled on this big stupid lever to make either sound, and the thing barely worked. Oddly, I preferred the '60s motor.

Gibbo: You got a shot of nice Michigan winter weather. At least Detroit didn't get hit with another snow storm at the auto show time, like a couple of years ago. That nearly closed the show down, and Detroit was once again exposed for their idiotic management when, as it turns out, Detroit somehow concluded that they didn't need snow plows. A frickin major Michigan city thinks it can get away without snowplows???

I didn't see the Adrenelin. But I was mainly looking for the GT and Mustangs at the Ford display.

When you upload pictures, all you see is this:
.
So technically, he wouldn't have seen the word 'Camaro' or 'Carmero' at all. Secondly, he said the Ford GT looked 'Stout in black,' not 'Stout in back.' Sorry, had to bust you back.

I just watched the review of the International Auto Show on television. I must say I'm happy to see a lot of good moves by a lot of car companies this year.
... I'm not particularly interested in the crossover vehicles, but I would have to say this impressed me the most:
The 2007 Jaguar XK

**** I love this car!
**** the s2000, I'm getting this.

The black GT did look good, but I liked the Gulf one better. I also liked the Edge SUV too. It is a huge step towards what Ford needs to start making.

I'll have to disagree with you on the Camaro vs. Challenger opinion though. I hated the Camaro and loved the Challenger

Yeah but, he did take those pictures, besides I try to preview my posts and read them when I'm starting threads.

I must've read it quickly and was looking at the backside shot of the GT below it. And, I, uh. . . implied what he had to say. . . got off-track about the Camaro spelling. . .

:damnit:

Dude, I misspelled it once, but you're still misspelling Crapmaro. :D

BTW, one other car that sorta surprised me was the Ford Fusion. I really never even paid attention to those before. Then I sat in one at the show. I actually thought it was a 500 when I got in (didn't look at the back - and I thought the interior size (including the back seat) was just about perfect. I'm a pretty big guys too, so I usually hate how small back seats are on mid-sized cars. If they kept any of the handling edge of the Focus, they should have a great DD right there. Plus those things are friken cheap.
