Last night I managed to get a few runs in before it started to rain at Atco. My freind was bugging me to run with the headlight out in hopes that my time would be better. I finally succumed and here are the results.

My first run was a 14.0 @ 97, .2 faster than my usual 14.2.

Then the best run all night, I'm 209.:

With the headlight in and an improved launch from previous runs, I ran consistent 14.1s.

My mods are: one flowmaster muffler, a k&n intake with a filter thats in desperate need of a cleaning (it's black). Hopefully when I clean it it will help a little.

This is in an 01 A4 vert GT.

One question, to the A4 guys, what RPMs are you launching at the track?

I haven't taken mine to a 1/4 mile track yet, but I've heard from a cuople of local mustang gt owners that they launch at 1000-1500rpm.

Werd, thats what i've been launching at, I tried taking it higher but I realized that would be impossible.

Holy crap  I didn't know you can lunch those bad boyz that low. When i launched my car that low a few times i was pulling 2.5-.7 60ft. It would spin, hook, then i would floor it only to go side ways at 4k. I try to lunch in my power band all the time.

Nice times man out of a almost bone stock car man. :nice:
