Went to the track tonight...

I don't see anything about a blower in your sig. Is this car blown? If not, why the extremely low compression ratio? Are you planning for forced induction soon?

If the car isn't FI, then that's why your dyno numbers and track times are so soft.

Thats right.

Nice car. Dont worry what these other guys are saying, looks like you have a blower motor without the blower....8.5 comp. Wait till you get a blower and then well see some really nice times.

EDIT:
I was just looking to see what you all think or maybe for some advice for improvement. Thanks to all!:SNSign:

Thats right.

Well then in my opinion, your numbers are pretty reasonable then. The low compression is making the motor soft and those are some decent times considering. I also think that 13.0 A/F ratio sounds pretty lean, but without seeing a graph it's hard to see the big picture.

Don't trust the stock tach. I can watch both my stock tach and my Autometer 5" tach and in the upper RPM's (over 4500), and my stock tach is about 300-350 RPM higher than what the Autometer shows. I know the Autometer is more accurate because my rev limiter is set at exactly 6400 and if I ever bump the limter, I can hit recall on my Autometer and it will show exactly 6400 RPM. My stock tach will show close to 6750 when I bump the limiter.

Just keep practicing - you know what they say.:)

Thanks, I will look into a tach/shiftlight combo to help me out.

What track do you think is better, no problem, or state capitol?

I've only been to State Capital once...and I blew my heater hose...so I've only had 2 runs there.

No Problem I think I like better just because I've made 50+passes there but since my work schedule changed I'll probably go out to SCD more for the TnT's on Sundays. As far as track prep, sometimes its good and other it isn't. If you are looking for good times NEVER go to Midnight Madness. Zero track prep and the ricers drag water onto the track. Only reason I'd go is if I can't get to run any other time or if the weather was going to be good.
