Hey guys looking to put a little juice on the car. But i have a Vortech supercharger running 12lbs. I only want like a 50 shot so i dont overdue it. But do i want to get a wet system or a dry system to run with the S/C?

you could get away with a dry kit for a 50 hp shot. personally i like the safety of the wet kit.

A dry kit with 42lb injectors is a little sketchy. You will be under injected and looking for trouble. On the right day you could lean it out and take the motor and blower with it. I actually run a wet kit on my Lightning with 15lbs of boost and it works great to cool the intake charge. I use both a 55 and a 75 hp shot. It's a great idea but wet would suit you better.

If you are only looking to add another 50hp, why not change some of the engine parts to get more power? You could probably squeeze another 30-40hp out of some changes to your engine for the same amount of money as the nitrous, except you'll have the power all the time.

Selling the Gt40 intake, could probably make up half the power, and you can probably break even by selling it, and buying something a bit larger.

Maybe a little headwork too.

I really don't think you need the nitrous to meet your goal, so why risk it.
