Roush What a champ!

It Originally sold for 44, reserve is met at 16.5 Im betting it will go for around 18k Another 5K to fix it wala new 05 Saleen for 23K I wish I had some floating capitol it would be MINE! 4 hrs left :(

I just dropped the person an e-mail asking if they would be interested in parting the car out. Is anyone else interested? If so, drop them an e-mail. I'd really like to get hold of the wheels, seats, and bumper. There's a bunch of stuff that's good on that car; even the sound system.

Notice that the auction says "This car was sold for $44,000 and wrecked the same day from what the Ford dealership told me."

Same day? And it has 224 miles on it?! I know dealerships don't like to let those go out on test drives unless they are sure they are going to sell one so it seems to me the owner put those miles on it in the short amount of time he had it. He either had a long way to go to pick it up or was driving the hell out of it.

I dunno, fixing it out of pocket, and having a car with a salvage title doesn't sound like a great idea to me.

Then they threw all the crap inside a brand new interior.

Damage looks like it will exceed 5,000, because if it was totalled, hence the salvage title, the insurance company would of fixed it, if it was worth it..

I'm sure the cost to repair that car will high. If the car was totaled/salvaged, the cost to repair must have been around at least $15k.

15,000 is about what i was thinking.

16,000 for a totalled Base Saleen, seems expensive to me. It's only an 05, not like people are worried about finding chasis like foxes.

I buy wrecks pretty often and I would touch that one for what the high bid was. Honestly I would not go over about $8K. Reason being that the rear end was nearly ripped out from under it. The insurance company totalled it because of suspension damage that is very expensive. It you have to replace the rear torque boxes it gets very expensive! It is a pain in the butt to do to!

I disagree accidents don't always "just happen". Some people are idoits and make accidents happen. Case in point a young (19) driver in my local Stang club who's now braggin about his 2nd Mach I that he's owned (killed the 1st driving like an idiot) parents didn't learn and bought him another, should have replaced it with a Yugo till he grew up.
