What are Americans thinking?

Don't blame the immigrants for companies giving them work. Maybe it's time for Americans to tighten up their work force and stop doing bare minimum work and wanting top dollar. It real simple slam companies with high outrageous fines and they will at least think twice. Besides immigration laws are biased why is it when Cuban immigrant reaches land they are automatically given citizenship and no other immigrant gets the same. When Brazilian, Asian/Japanese, Mexican, Canadian reach land it's either come up with thousands for a lawyer to help and we'll think about it.

it really pisses me off when people disrespect the flag. I understand they are protesting and all, but that flag stands for the freedom that allows them to do their stupid protesting!! Hundreds of thousands of people have died for the freedoms that our flag symbolizes.

It makes me laugh...their sooo proud to be Mexican. If your so proud of your country then why did you leave it? How bout you contribute to our country and be proud that your an AMERICAN.

Sure people should have the right to disgrace our flag and burn it or whatever then want to do. But I should be able to beat the **** out of them when they do.

my biggest pet peeve is the language thing!! Learn our language or get out! I don't mind if someone comes here to have a better life but how can you honestly contribute to our society by not learning the language and living in places that are all hispanic.... its completely ridiculous.

Oh and my mom is from Chile. She came over when she was in her 20's, LEGALLY. She learned the language, worked, and *SHOCK* actually made something of her life. And you know what, she loves this country and also gets pissed off when people take our country for granted and disrespects the flag.

I have family living in the USA (some in Jersey, legally came to your country in the 50's) Some in Florida (also came legally, nurse) Your goverment brings in nurses from Canada every year, because your education system can't turn them out fast enough. I was in Florida on vacation a few years back and one gentlemen trying to get me to buy into some time share scam, was dumb founded that I wasn't american and work in the states (only live about 45 minutes from border) and until I told him I was Canadian he didn't know any different. Your goverment makes it harder on Canadians wishing to come in then just about anyone else. A company wanting to hire us has to prove that no US citizen can do the job. Why? You know why, cause we blend in to fast, we look the same, can talk the same, and won't take crap jobs.

However I also don't agree that these kids should have been allowed to flip your flag upside down, and put it up below the other one, thats called $hitting where you live! and isn't a very smart thing to do!

So, you visit that forum often? From your name, it appears that you do. I did some reading on there and there are some interesting views. So here's my dilemma, I'm half white and half asian. I fully believe in and appreciate the superiority of the white race and that the white brethren need to reconquer the motherlands of the United States and send the minorities back to the places from whence they came. I agree messing with any Country flag is not right. Especially if you live in it. Thats like ****ting in your room then sleeping next to it. I do agree on that part. Im not trying to be racist or anything, but in all honesty seriously who would take the jobs? Im sure the first person in line would be a black person LOL! Yeah right. The black guy is selling drugs that he bought of the Mexican that the Mexican paid of a white guy to look the other way. Then that same white guy busts the mexican and scores some dough of it. I mean, in this situation it takes to do the crime. Who hired that illegal to do that work? Chances are a white guy. I do know that my parents have never abused or even taken any of the financial aid availble from hospitols, WIC, or even collage aid. We have always paid using money made form our own sweat, and I never intent on using it when I have kids unless I physically cant work to pay it off. Not every Mexican is bad as every one makes it seems. Theres bad people in every color

I agree one hundred percent here. You make a law stating a mandatory 5 year prison sentence in Federal "You're bubba's bitch" prison and you'd see a lot of this crap go to the wayside.

The cost of fruits and veggies will rise? That's just lame. Illegal immigrants do the jobs American's won't do FOR ILLEGAL WAGES!! If these jobs paid at least the minimum wage things would be different. I would pay double the cost of produce to pay half the cost of health insurance, car insurance, and taxes for education of non-citizens.

down here there are more illegals from cuba and central america than you can shake a stick at. as was already said, ship them out, fine the companies that hire them, and i will be more than happy to pay the menial rise in cost for products. the unemployment rate here among US citizens is ridiculous yet companies are still getting away with hiring illegals to save money. my belief is if you want to be in this country, go about it the right way and apply for residency and a work permit. otherwise, get out. im thoroughly delighted that the goverment is finally tightening up on immigration laws.

The almighty dollar and greed are what drive America. Ambition to acquire wealth has been its strongest asset but will also be its greatest detriment.

Many illegals use real social security #'s therefore paying into the Gov't system. The issue will arise when they have to pay out. who gets paid?

The Gov't does not mind filling its coffers and feeding the bureaucracy off the cash of illegals.

We took land from Mexico in the 1800's via force and war. We are giving it back without a shot being fired.

It's not about shipping people back to where they came from or for whites to take back our land. I don't mind that they are here in all honesty if they are legal... When I'm in a ditch digging around 10,000-40,000 volts of power, I want the dude digging to be able to understand me when I say "STOP" instead of just looking at you dumbfounded while he sits there and fries like KFC extra chrispy... Or when the people who actually pay taxes are needing to be helped in certain circumstances and we have to wait in line behind someone who doesn't even know what a 1099 form is from a speeding ticket!!!

Don't even get started on schools and illegals... They are destroying or education systems... To have a specific class called ESL (English as a Second Language) that is taught during regular tax payers school hours is insane... That needs to be a class outside of normal school that they pay for, not tax payers... Also to make it maditory now that teachers have a minor in Spanish in order to be hired is total B.S....

I'm with you on that one, who knew what "Un-insured motorist" coverage was until a few years ago right?!?! How do they get around town if they can't speak a lick of english, but every road sign I have seen has been in English!?!?! Ponder that one.........

I wasn't talking about the article at all. I was talking about that website in general. Its a white supremacist forum and all they talk about is reclaiming "the motherland" or whatnot. Read around, you'll find that there are some people with interesting views on there.

I agree that illegal aliens shoudl not be allowed just to waltz into the country, and if somebody wants to come here, they should be able to speak english.
