what are opera windows?

from mustangII.net:

"The 1975 Mustang II was hardly changed. The grille got a larger eggcrate-type mesh, which was now practically flush with the grille opening, and the Ghia model came with opera windows to enhance its luxury image."

when i read this i thought windows that open, but does it mean the shape of the windows? just wandering...

.org .net I know theres some been fueding in the past, but dont know the story. I dont really subscribe to either only to the Mustang II car itself. I use whatever resources are available to me to find, fix, and repair my II. This forum is nice cause it allows us to share pictures etc of our II's, and thats what it's aaaaallll about Our II's :nice:

There's a .org/.net fued? Doesn't seem like much of a fight. I've been visiting the .org site for a few years, and it's the most pathetic site I've seen so far for IIs. Absolutely useless, and the only thing I ever see change is some gallery pics now and then, and maybe some new news every month or so. When I was restoring the 76, the .net site was almost invaluable with it's pics and information.

i've been involved on .org since it's inception which I'm pretty sure Mark has as well, and if it wasn't for the ground breakers at the org site, net wouldnt' be where it is. Not saying what information they do or dont' have over there is any good/bad, but that was when all the interest started to come about with the mustang ii's in general. But both sites do have their pluses. and of course both have their negatives. But many of the guys that stroll around her on this forum are form the .org site. And you'll occassionally see tim come around and drop a few words about mustang II's. but not many. I'm not sure what the feud was about on the .org site that drove tim out, but we're all in this thing together, trying to gain a little more knowledge about our beloved step children. It's just kinda funny, seeing the same subjects come up year after year, with newbies, so apparently there still isnt' enough readily available enough info for people to sink their teeth into. Some people havent' been as fortunate as the rest of us to have a few cars to learn with or the people to learn from that some of us have come across.
