Hi yes i am a proued owner of a an 04 azure Blue Mach1 5-speed. I was wondering what are some of the best bolt-ons for the car.

mach 1 comes with FRPP UD Pullies, my best mod was a o/r h-pipe

Sticky tires (Nitto or BFG Drag Radials)
Gears (4.10 or 4.30's)
Exhaust
Cold air kit (K&N/MRT/PHP)

in that order...

Angus,
Shouldn't he upgrade his axles and pumpkin before putting sticky tires on? I've heard of too many Machs with broken axles because of DRs.

yes axles for sure, my friend was launching @ 3500rpm with Nitto DR and snapped his axles.

My list is has follows:

Moser 31 spline Axles $229
FRPP 31 spline Trac-Lock $189
FRPP 4.10 or 4.30 Gears $139

Now you can launch @ 6000 rpm without worries,

Yeah, I left-out the axle upgrade due to a momentary lapse in judgement.

I did the 4.30's/31-spline Superiors/31-spline Eaton/T&A cover girdle at the same time, and would recommend a similar set-up for any Mach 1 owner who's going to frequent the track more than a couple of times per year.

(I always planned on some high-rpm launches, with slicks in my Mach's future this fall... )

ok ill answer this since ive done tons of them

GEARS AXLES AND POSI!!! nothing less then a 4.10
Chip!
long tubes x pipe and cat back
Drag radial or slicks
amazon air box (yes we can mod it for the shaker also)


that right there will be a solid mid 12sec. car
