Ok fellas, Im now done with my front suspension rebuild, its now time to start on installing my rear 5 leaf springs, along with my 3/4 sway bar. What is the process for that? Drilling into the frame? if so, how do I bolt it to the frame, if the sub frame is boxed in? I did learn something from yesterday, some else tried installing on on backwards..........LOL! I do know better than that! Do i install it with the weight of the car on the ground or do it up on jacks ect....? Thanks for the help!

Lift the rear from the suspension. Remove the wheels. Make sure the sway bar is as level as possible. Measure twice and mark your drill locations. Drill it and mount it.

I have an adjustable rear bar and it required me to drill through the frame rails from the side for the mounting bracket. My drill wouldn't fit so I purchased and extra long drill bit that extended the drill outside of my rear fender.

Mine goes all the way thru the frame also, you must be extremely carefull not to overtighten the bolt, since the "frame" rail isn't very thick and being a gorilla with the wrench will crush the rail. While my car is apart, I plan to make a bushing that goes all the way thru the frame, weld it and then run my bolt thru that to prevent the bolt from wallowing out the hole.
