What are the steps to installing new guages??

I just put in some white face guages, and now the needles are slighty off, so this gives me an excuse to install new gauges. Im getting Oil Pres. and Water Temp, and im putting them in the A/C vents. There the electrical kind so how do i connect the wires and where do they connect to? is this a tuff job?

This is a good question, I'm an electrical spaz. I plan on picking up the MC-Machine dash plate and installing all new Auto Meter gauges, but to have a shop do it will be pricey. It can't be all that hard, at least that's what I hear.

Its not hard to do, all you really have to do is run wires from the engine bay to the interior, replace the stock sending unit with the supplied sending unit (electric gauges), and connect + and - and a positive on/off to tell the gauges when to light up or not (usually hook up to headlight switch).
