What are the weight differences between a Foxbody and a 95 GTS?

you mention foxes: notches are about 3200 lbs. then LX hatch (~50-100 more). then GT hatch (~100 more than LX hatch). then LX vert. then GT vert (under 3500 lbs).

that is a rough range for foxes. IIRC, the 95 GTS is ~3200 lbs, right? so it equates to a notch and arguably the LX hatch.

fox verts are heavier for obvoius reasons. the GT's have ground effects and all power, so more weight there.

I don't know about the foxes, but 3200 and 3300 sound right. The GTS is 3300 I believe. The regular GT is 3400 and verts are around 3500. Someone chime in if I'm wrong.

My friends LX coupe (non-hatch) weighed in at 2990 w/o a driver & no spare/jack. They are very light.

That sounds a bit on the light side...but not to far off from average. Mine weighed 3018lbs without spare, jack...with heavier 17"x8" wheels and tires and 1/4 tank of gas. I do have a fully optioned 89 though (pw, pl, pm, a/c)...so a stripper notch is quite capable of weighing uner 3000lbs stock.
