OMG I wish I would have known this after 4 HG installs over the last 3 months!

What do you ask for then? The head specifically or the heads to certain a vehicle to get the "P" heads? E7's can be used as the core? They don't look at the casting numbers? This sounds too good to be true.cb18201 said:

Actually.. I just called az here in Jax... they told me they were 245.00 each !! What ever works I guess, and knowing they are always cheaper " over there.."

BTW- A complete 97-newer ford explorer long block can be had for around $800 around here from the junk yards, it has the GT40P heads and the GT40 style intake from the factory. That's a hell of a deal IMHO. You can sell the peices you don't need and recoupe some of your money.
